My Temporary World

Three months away from my own land..

When I was a child, I couldn't think of something else but barbie dolls, chocolates and birthday parties. Playing was my life. My childhood years were filled with happy memories. I got what I wanted as a baby.

When I grew up and became a teenager, I wanted then to be like my cousins who were studying abroad because I find them very famous you know..Like when they go back Philippines for vacation, everyone was so excited with all those chocolates and stuffs.

My school, St. William's may not be the best in terms of the quality of education but I never regret studying there. Some people feels ashamed that they studied in SWS but for me, I didn't. SWS moulded me into what I am right now. It's not just about the level of knowledge but the wholistic of a person. For me, my highschool days were one of the most significant part of my life. And the best part of my highschool life is being with the 'bestest batch' --- swsbatch2002! I always believe that "dreams change, but friends are forever!"

When I entered college, I experienced a new life..and met new friends from different parts of the Philippines. I was four hours <bus> drive away from my hometown [from manila]..wah lao, it was really a hard time for me to start. But eventually, everything turned out fine. I had friends with me along my college journey. They were all fantastic persons. I'm glad that we keep the bond until now.

These past two years, I've realized a lot! I now understand things in the broader angle, and with deeper realizations..maybe because I'm growing older..haha! I began to criticized my own country, with the kind of gov't and leaders we have and started saying what a bullshit life we, Filipinos have. If they only offer high salary, I couldn't be here right now.. :-( Oh sorry!

April 30, 2005 -- I left my home and stepped into a new world. For once, I felt how it was to be an alien..haha! Now I can prove to you.. "There's really no place like home!" And if Philippines has a lot of problems now, I want to say I still love my country!

I now have new friends..name it!..from Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Vietnam, Myanmar, Brazil and Singapore! haha! I understand the culture of others and that we really have differences but inspite of these, we still manage to get along together. We may have different religions, different languages, different tastes, but we learn from each other. and I think, that's the most important!

Now, I no longer think about barbie dolls or chocolates but the future ahead of me! I maybe Im here now, but I always want to be back there tomorrow. I miss the people I've been with since birth. I miss my grandparents..I miss my parents..I miss my siblings..[I miss fighting with Kevin and Karin..haha]..I miss lauging with Ja-mes..I miss She-An's love stories..I miss Hans' Korean movies..I miss going to the beach with my batchmates..I miss eating balot and joyride with Wehn,Ayec,Jharvs & Zeus..I miss telling stories to tita My..I miss going out[double date] with rox and EG..I miss riding on Otep's sc0oter..I miss Kim's & Mhel's loud voices..I miss Juls' jokes..I miss Manny's 'tampororot'..I miss kjoy's crazyness..I miss cath's frankness..I miss Joan's company..I miss Jharvs' house..I miss Zeus' 'puto'..I miss Jonvi's stories about his absences..I miss Darlene, my KambaL..I miss Charie's stories and Me-an's smiles..I miss evelyn's laughs and stuffs..I miss telling secrets with Wehn..I miss Suncel's 24/7..I miss Pinakbet and inihaw na bangus..I miss tatang's recipe -- 'kinilaw'..I miss bopis ang talbus ng camote..I miss inang's c0oK..I miss my r0om..I miss selling in our store and act like a manager,haha..I miss riding tricycle with kabul,haha..I miss playing BINGO..I miss going to Blue Note then diretso simba,lahat antok,haha..I miss OceanView..I miss Jollibee..I miss watching movies with MarK..I miss 'twinkle dream'..I miss my three little poohs..I miss sending messages to my friends everyday [i wish may 24/7 din d2]..i miss the Gonzales St. na laging binabaha..i miss all those sleepless nights telling stories with friends and cousins..I miss Pancit Canton..I miss preparing for the batch outing..I miss collecting contributions lalo na sa mga mahirap singilin,haha!I miss taking pictures with him..I miss how he holds my hand..I miss his hug..I miss the caKes..I miss the times we fight,haha[thanks God,di na!]I miss shouting like hell,joke..I miss telling jokes and long stories..I miss singing with my cousins,our videoke..I miss eating in Greens..I miss tapsilogan..I miss Victory Liner..I miss Buko Pandan..I miss his voice..I miss his surprises..I miss doing surprises too..the balloons? =] I miss his letters. I miss his cards. I miss the times he gave me flowers..i miss listening to his 'not so nice' voice,haha..I miss the times he plays his guitar and dedicate the songs to me..I miss dating with him..i miss going out with him..i miss his smiles..i miss being with you!

I MISS YOU ALL!

I wanna come home..I hope to see you guys s0on! i hope I can..

Here(Singapore) is my temporary world..but my heart is there with YOU!

I'm now empty and I can just be filled again when I'm back with YOU!

Count the memories

"There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real!

A True Great Love

A true great love can bear the pain and longitude of waiting even if it takes forever. When confused about love, follow your heart it may not always be right but you will have the memories to make you smile. If your head tells you one thing and your heart tells you another thing,before you decide, you should first think whether you have a better head or heart. Its okay to kiss a fool or let the fool kiss you but never let a kiss fool you. Don't be ashamed to show love when you feel it because one day you might realize that love is already afraid to show itself to you.

Girls are like angels, they easily forgive and forget, while men are devils they easily get and forget. To love someone is to have the courage to walk away and let go of the one who wishes to be free, no matter how much it hurts. Never say "I LOVEYOU" when you don't even care. Never talk about feelings if they aren't there. Never touch a heart if you mean to break it.Never look in the eyes if all you have to tell is a lie and never say Hello if you mean Goodbye.

Love is like a butterfly the more you chase it the more it eludes you,but if you just let it fly, it would come to you, when the least you expect. On the course of love, people must teach their hearts to be brave enough to hold on when things go wrong, and to be brave enough to Let when they realized that things are not meant to be after all. Most relationships are like traffic signs: 1 way, 2 way. Do not enter,slippery when wet, no u turn, no left turn, but what I like most is to give way. Words and heart should be handle with care; for words when spoken and hearts when broken are the hardest thing to repair.

The simplest pick up line doesn't have so many words, all I need is "I"for me to say it, "LOVE" for me to share it and "YOU" for me to give it.Don't shed your tears for someone who hurt you. Don't long for theperson if they left. Don't feel sorry if you fail when you try your best. Someone out there is far more deserving of your time and love. If I tell you "I LOVE YOU" you shouldn't wonderwhy, or how, or since when,or for how long because I wouldn't have a single answer except to say it
again.

In the name of love, it doesn't really matter who won or lose, what's important is that you know when to hold on and when to let go. It's the presence of soul that makes us "Live" but it's the
presence of "Love" that makes us want to live. If your heart gets hurt by the time you truly love...don't let go of the love for the person but let go of the person. You'll never know, love might be sweeter the second time around.It's hard to find true love because are too caught up looking for the perfect person. They don't realize that love is not finding the perfect person but being the perfect person for someone else.

Love knows no reason, love knows no lie, love defies all reason, love has no eyes, but love is not blind, they can see but they just don't mind. We are sometimes afraid to say "I LOVE U"
instead we say "I MISSU" but often misunderstood leaving the ones we love on which you don't
realized that it is also feeling same feeling like you do. Love not because the person is the only one but because the person is the one you are willing to give up everything because it's worth
fighting for.

It's hard to pretend to love someone that you don't. But it's harder to pretend you don't love someone that you really do. Once you had love,you will always love. For what's on your mind may
escape, but what's onyour heart will always remain forever.

Love is not how you forget but rather how you forgive. It is not how you listen but how you understand, but by what you say, but by what you do and not by what you receive but what you give. True love is wanting the person to be happy even if you won't be the one that the person will
share his/her happiness with. If you love someone, don't hold back,never hide your feelings, never economize your love and most of allnever take the person for granted because you will never know what youhave till it's gone. Sometimes we think that loving someone can be such a risky thing. How else would you win if you don't take chances? You don't lose by giving, you lose by holding back.

Never try to impress someone to make him/her fall in-love with you 'coz when you do, you will have to keep the standards for the rest of your life. Never rush in love, for it never runs out. Let
love be the one to look for you so that when you start to fall, you will always know that the feeling is sure. Yes!!! It drives you crazy, it makes you mad,jealous sad, it even causes you sleepless nights, breaks your heart.Well come to think of it? It is healthy to fall in love. True love is not when the hearts beats faster or fastest but when it beats no more and yet the love is still there. If you love a person with no reason at all, then you are using your heart.

LOVE is not a word to say when we feel guilty, not the right word to say when we like a person...but love really matters when we share our thoughts, minds and hearts. How do I say goodbye to someone I never had?Why do tears fall to someone who was never really mine? Why do I miss
someone I was never been with? Why do I love someone whose love was never truly mine?

Don't be too good, I might miss you. Don't be too caring, I might like you. Don't be too sweet, I might fall. Its for me to love you when you won't love me after all.

Hahaha, this is funny but it's true. Read on...

why do we love ba?

so we can have somebody to talk to?
someone who can be there pag gusto natin gumala?
a person na pwedeng manlibre satin?
taong magbibitbit ng gamit mo?
ALALAY for short!

eh pano kung di ka nya mahal?
wou ld you still love him/her?
would you still continue to care for that person?

bakit naman hinde?

you didnt love that person para magkaroon ka ng alalay, magkaroon ka ng instant meal dahil libre,
taong gagawa ng assignments mo or projects, or taong mahihila mo if you want to go out...

if thats what you think about love well sorry ang BABAW mo!

loving a person doesn't need to have a criteria na dapat maganda o guwapo,dapat mabait or understanding,kasi once you fall inlove you take the risk of accepting dat personkahit maingay sya matulog, yung hilik ng hilik kahit matakaw sya o sobrang fat na hindi kayo kasya pag puno ang jeep! kahit sobrang moody nya na kulang na lang ay sapakin mo sa inis!yung sobrang selosa/seloso na pati barkada pinagseselosan..badtrip diba?and yung napaka-arte OA kung baga!
o kahit ano pang things that would turn you off...

hirap tlaga magmahal trying to be PERFECT kase gusto mong magtagal pero hindi yun ang sagot sa lahat...

ACCEPTING the real person fully

kase if you said na mahal mo sya you dont need to find answers kung bakit mo sya mahal...kase lahat ng tao nagbabago but if you accept that person magbago man sya in the middle of your relationship hindi ka masasaktan kase you know that darating din yun.. tsaka tanggap mo sya ng buo... mahirap gawin p ero masarap subukan dahil wala ng sasaya pa if you let one person feel na MAHAL NA MAHAL mo sya without asking 4 anything in return...

then you can say wow un pla ang LOVE!

Nakakatawa talaga ang love. Isa siyang napakalaking oxymoron. Lahat ng pwede mong masabi sa kanya, baliktarin mo at totoo pa rin.

Ang labo diba? Pero ang linaw.

Masaya magmahal.
Malungkot magmahal.
Di mo naiintindihan pero naiintindihan mo.
Walang rason.
Maraming rason.
Di mo na kaya, pero kaya mo pa rin.
Masakit magmahal.
Pero okey lang.
Leche, ano ba talaga?!

May kaibigan ako, sabi niya dati "Love is only for stupid people."Nakakatawa kasi laude ang standing niya, pero dumating ang panahon, na-in-love din ang hunghang. At ayun, tanga na siya ngayon.

Lahat kasi ng nahahawakan ng love nagiging oxymoron din. O kaya paminsan, nagiging moron lang.

Hindi lang kasi basta baliktaran ang pag-ibig.
Lahat ng bagay nababaligtad din niya.
Lahat ng malalakas na tao, humihina.
Ang mayayabang, nagpapakumbaba.
Ang mga walang pakialam, nagiging Mother Teresa.
Ang mga henyo, nauubusan ng sagot.
Ang malulungkot, sumasaya.

Nakakatawa talaga. Lalo na kapag dumadating siya sa mga taong ayaw na talaga magmahal.
Napansin ko nga eh. Parang kung gusto mo lang ma-in-love ulit, sabihin mo lang ang magic words na "Ayoko na ma-inlove!" biglang WACHA! Ayan na siya.
Nang-aasar.
Magpapaasar ka naman.

Di ba nakakatawa rin na pagdating sa problema ng ibang tao, ang galing galing mo?
Pero 'pag problema mo na yung pinag-uusapan
parang nawawalan ng saysay lahat ng ipinayo mo dun sa namomroblemang tao?
Naiisip mong wala namang mali dun sa mga sinabi mo.
Pero bakit parang wala ring tama?

Bali-baliktad din ang nasasabi ng mga taong tinamaan ng madugong pana ng pag-ibig.
"Ngayon ko lang nalaman ganito pala.
Sabi ko na eh!" "Ang sarap mabuhay.
Pwede na 'ko mamatay. Now na!"

At hindi lang 'yon. Ang sarap din pagtawanan ng mga taong alam naman nilang masasaktan lang
sila eh magpapatihulog pa rin sa bangin ng pag-ibig. Tapos 'pag luray-luray na yung puso nila,
siyempre hindi sila yung may kasalanan.

Siya! "Bakit niya 'ko sinaktan?" May kasama pang pagsuntok sa pader yon, at pagbabagsak
ng pinto.

Hayop talaga.

Mauubos ang buong magdamag ko kakasabi ng mga bagay na nakakatawa 'pag pag-ibig na ang
pinag-usapan. Ang daming beses ko na kasi siya nakasalubong kaya masasabi ko nang eksperto na 'ko.

Pero wala pa rin akong alam.

Pero ang pinakanakakatawa sa lahat ay ang katotohanang kapag gusto magpatawa ng pag-
ibig, ipusta na mo na lahat ng ari-arian mo dahil siguradong ikaw ang punchline.

Nakakatawa no?

Love Story

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness,
Knowledge, and all of the others including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the
island would sink, so all repaired their boats and left.

Love wanted to persevere until the last possible moment. When the island was almost sinking,
Love decided to ask for help.

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said, "Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here
for you."

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel, "Vanity, please help me!" "I can't help you Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat." Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by so Love asked for help, "Sadness, let me go with you." "Oh....Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"

Happiness passed by Love too, but he was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her!

Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come Love, I will take you." It was an elder. Love felt so blessed
and overjoyed that he even forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went his own way.

Love realizing how much he owed the elder and asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who helped me?" "It was Time," Knowledge answered. "Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?" Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because, only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is."

LOVE

Someone will leave your heart like a shattered glass but you should keep in mind that there's someone who'll be willing to endure the pain of picking up the broken pieces of glass so you could be whole again.

The most painful love there is, is the love that's left unknown, feelings that can't be expressed, and affection left unshown.

People say " I love you " just for the sake of saying it, some just for pity and some because they promised. But when you think really hard, the people who find it so hard to say are usually the
ones who mean it.

No man/woman is worth your tears and the only one who is, will never make you cry.

There is someone out there for you and you alone. Many will come along yet you can only trust your heart to tell you the search is over - the heart knows when it has found a match.

True love isn't when the heart beats the fastest or the strongest but when it beats no more yet love is still there.

Love is too strong a word to say it too early but has too beautiful meaning to say it too late.

Sometimes, no matter how secure you are in someone's arms and no matter how tight you hold on to this person's hand, you'll find yourself fallin...dangerously fast... with someone else

Think and take time to listen to your heart. sometimes you need not ask yourself who you love more but ask who really makes you happy and who makes you feel loved.

Love is not about making someone else's life complete. But instead it's about making someone realize that they are already complete right from the start.

Sometimes we tend to be in despair when the person we love leaves us but the truth is it's not our loss but theirs for they left the only person who would give up everything.

In love, you have to learn to give all you can, don't hold back whatever it is you're feeling but never expect anything in return!
